AMAANA Dallas
As the needs of the Muslim community grows in the DFW area, so does the number of Muslim children and young adults with special needs. To address this, we are establishing the AMAANA Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC). AMAANA stands for American Muslims for Accessibility, Advocacy and Nurturing Acceptance.
The DFW chapter of AMAANA serves as a community resource center for Muslim children and young adults with disabilities and their families. AMAANA provides advocacy support, educational resources, respite services, volunteer and caregiver trainings, inclusive social and recreational activities, family support programs, and community connection opportunities. Through workshops, support gatherings, disability awareness initiatives, and specialized programming, AMAANA works to empower families, promote inclusion, and ensure individuals with special needs are supported with dignity, compassion, and care. Your support helps us continue building accessible, faith-centered resources and meaningful programs for families throughout the DFW area.
